How it works:The unit is activated when the internal microphone picks up the constant barking sound from the dog. The activated unit emits a two-second ultrasonic sound that can only be heard by the dog. Startled by the high-pitched sound, the dog should stop barking as it will associate its bark with this unpleasant noise. After a few corrections, unwanted barking habits are broken. Features: |
Operating the unit:1. Place the unit in the area where the dog is barking. The unit should be 3m or less from the barking dog. (Range radius 3m, range diameter 6m.) 2. The unit is equipped with a "manual correction" button that can be used to correct un-wanted behaviour such as lying on the furniture or getting in the trash can. Simply push the "manual correction" button and the unit will emit a two-second ultrasonic sound. If the button is held down, the unit will repeat the process in two second intervals (two seconds on, two seconds off, two seconds on, etc...)
